Lunch Information

TCA school lunches will be provided through a food delivery service. Lunch options will be in compliance with all food specifications as outlined by the National School Lunch Program. Meals will arrive at the required temperature and in appropriate containers for all students who opt in for school lunch. Students may choose to have lunch on the picnic tables surrounding the building, or inside in the Multipurpose Classrooms.

Families who wish to apply for free and reduced lunch will do so upon enrollment. Families who do not meet the requirement of free and reduced lunch will have the opportunity to purchase lunch from this food delivery service.

Lunch menus will be given in advance. Juice, milk, and fruit will also be served. Before dual enrollment, students will be served lunch on-site at the high school.

See Lunch Calendar Spring-Summer 2024

Once students begin dual enrollment, they can choose to continue food service on-site at the high school, or they may visit the TCC Student Union on their own. The student union offers a variety of food for students including Vato Tacos, Subway, and Voltage Café.

TCA sits on the campus of TCC. Once students take their first dual enrollment class, they will have the ability to leave the High School building and visit the newly renovated student union for lunch. Students will have 45 minutes for lunch. This is plenty of time for a beautiful walk across campus to visit the various healthy vendors at the student union.

Free and Reduced application is in FOCUS Parent Portal.

Students must opt in or out for lunch monthly. Should you want to stop receiving lunch after you have opted in, you must alert us in writing: Info@tca.fl.edu or Allison.Tackett@tcc.fl.edu
