Students have the benefit of free college tuition through dual-enrollment during their time with TCA. This includes application, courses, books, fees, and tuition. Upon completion of high school, students will have their high school diploma, Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in a selected field of study, and zero debt.
Through an integrated scope and sequence of college courses mapped to high school requirements and industry skills that lead to a postsecondary degree, students are meeting graduation requirements in a meaningful way. Upon taking their first dual enrollment class, students have access to the robust clubs, programs, and amenities that the campus has to offer.
Students will acquire and refine workplace skills across multiple environments, including mentoring, worksite visits, speakers, project days, and week-long skills-based experiential learning opportunities yearly. Authentic, hands-on engagement in the learning process – the core of project-based learning – is key to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, character, and attitudes needed to succeed.
TCA is looking to hire staff and faculty who are committed to getting students Future Ready by providing hands-on learning and the support they need to complete college coursework.
Charter School students can participate in non-sports extracurricular activities offered on the TSC campus upon beginning their first dual enrollment course (as early as the second semester of ninth grade).
The Academic Center of Excellence is home to TCA’s Academic Advisors – our ACE Advisors are available to support TCA scholars every step of the way. Find out how.
The safety of your scholar is our priority. We are partnered with TSC's Police Department, FortifyFL, FLDOE's Office of Safe Schools, the EagleSafe app, and more.
