A.S. Degree Pathways

The Associate in Science (AS) CTE program is a two-year undergraduate pathway requiring completion of 60 credit hours, with a strong focus on technical education. This includes 18 credits in general education and 42 credits in technical courses.

Students have the unique opportunity to complete high school coursework alongside technical education classes, earning their high school diploma through the Career and Technical Education Graduation Pathway.

Designed to prepare students for immediate employment or career advancement, the AS degree equips graduates with practical skills for the workforce. Those interested in continuing their education and qualifying for Bright Futures scholarships can collaborate with their counselors to ensure they meet university admission requirements.

Throughout the program, students can also earn valuable industry certifications that enhance their career readiness and marketability.

This program is teachs students the fundamentals of Animation and Game Art as a viable career option. The program will also give students an opportunity to evaluate their potential as animators and game designers.
